Prayer is the most powerful weapon that any of us have. It can't be taken from us and no one knows when you do it or what you say. If everyone who reads this thread says just one prayer for Chad and ask God to help us find the answer it can happen.

I'm playing . . .
Many of us have tried to get to the bottom of Chad’s death, and there has been one or two doubting Thomas’s that have fought everything that goes against the “standard” ECSO procedure. This is all the way to having this topic broken up by arguing and creating chaos. The truth is that if you really read this, one doubtful person has been a thorn yet has actually helped us to look even harder at the entire picture.
I’ve been out there talking, questioning and listening to people and it is amazing what people remember after a few drinks and a few reminders. Post Time, Lucy’s, Ocotillo Inn, Chili’s and the Stevens are great places to meet new friends.
Talk is that Chad had a really good friend that rode with a bunch of bikers back 7 or 8 years ago. He no longer rides with them. After Chad‘s death, this guy got the s##t stomped out of him and he wouldn’t tell anyone who did it or why. He was married when Chad died and myself and several people believe that the stress of Chad’s death and his “falling out” with his biker buddies may have something to do with his marriage failing soon after.
Then there was Chad’s other employer at the gym. Since Chad’s death, this guy’s marriage ended and the gym closed. After staying low for a long time, lo and behold, he gets the wholly s##t stomped out of him by some bikers. We know who he got up close and personal with because it was a local news story. What???? One of the bikers was identified because he left his bike behind at the scene? Hmmm…
Now we all know that there are activities going on in Carlsbad that other communities won’t tolerate. Someone with clout and money has to be behind these activities. After some of the things I have seen and heard, I have to wonder…. What if the drugs that come into Carlsbad are brought in by not one person but several people that have the reputation of being REAL bad asses. Chad knew a lot on these guys and had videos of some very interesting activities going down. It is possible that the information Chad had and the videos he shot is what got him killed?

You may be on to something. I heard that his bag with all of cameras was taken, and wrote it off to the ex-wife. With this information it makes me wonder if it wasn't for another reason.

I know absolutely nothing about this case, just what I read here off and on over the past few months. I truly hope that this family can find closure. They will keep going around in these circles until either the case is solved, or they turn it over to Our Lord and release it. They would never, and may never know what happened to their loved one. For their own peace of mind I hope that they can release it.
I know from experience that you do get a peace about anything if you are able to release it. I will continue to pray for all of you involved in the lives of these friends and family of Chad Woods and ask that The Lord will give you peace that you so desperately need. I hope others will do the same. God Bless you all. Old Betsy

I've been reviewing a bunch of this and I am wondering about something.
Everyone knows that Chad was working evenings at Total Fitness for Jimmy Westfall when he died. Jimmy Westfall has since closed the gym and got a divorce from his wife. Okay......... Then he gets the crap beat out of him a while back by a bunch of bikers (Banditos?). So ... what happened with all that? Did some biker get arrested and if so, what was the charges and what became of this? Also, is there some sort of connection between Chad's death and what happened to Jimmy Westfall? Just curious...
This topic is really quiet these days.

Wasn't Jimmy the friend who was with Chad's mother when she found Chad? And wasn't he the one who knew exactly which window would be open to climb into? Just wondering.....
